So, the house in Zeeland was sold but we couldn't miss the seaside. And thus we bought us our own vacation house in the dunes outside Egmond, a half hour trainride from Amsterdam. Different beach, busier than the long stretches of deserted beach one could find in Zeeland, but once you knew your way around, you could still find a nice and quiet stretch... As you can see our daughter is no exception to the rule that Dutch children are born to be water engineers...
