Vorige week gepost op flickr.com de laatste foto uit de historische serie 'Sleep-in Amsterdam, 1977'.
Vandaag de eerste uit een nieuwe serie, te weten 'Festival of Fools, 1978' waarbij ik het volgende engelse commentaar zette:
"Annual theatre festival in Amsterdam between 1975 and 1984. Predecessor and origin of all streettheatre and fringe festivals that came after. Organized by the Shaffy theatre, Paradiso and the Melkweg where the international contacts in the fields of fringe- and experimental theatre abounded. Vondelpark Open Air theatre always was one of the venues. Working at the Melkweg, albeit in cinema, gave me free access to both in front of and behind the stage."
